Thrive follows Frogfruit, a hispanic woman in her late 20s-early 30s, who is working to rebuild Houston after America's second civil war. Along the way, she falls in love with Manumin who recently moved in from Michigan. It doesn't take long before Manumin begins to challenge the amount of time Frogfruit can spend on her work with the new government's local projects. Will Frogfruit choose love over work or will she abandon her heart's desires to pursue a solarpunk future for her city?
